Proper nouns and common nouns write in the board proper and common nouns with the students

Plan week Feb 20-23

Monday 20
First day of class get to know the students and their need to be in this course.
Start with the book Welcome to Top Notch so students can introduce to the class.
Grammar greetings and responses to introduce  yourself.
Grammar greetings and responses to greet people
Grammar ways to say good-bye.
Write conversation and role-play with the teacher`s help.

Tuesday 21
Start with Unit 1 Names and Occupations
Introduce unit goals
Talk about what you do
Identify people
Spell names
Brainstorm with students for different kinds of occupations write them on the board.
Use of a/an with occupations.
Contractions how to use contractions
Grammar be singular statements.

Wednesday 22
Introduce the class to Lab work in lab for 1 hour
Continue with grammar be singular statements; affirmative and negative statements
Students make flashcards to complete affirmative and negative statements using occupations

Thursday 23
Complete exercises in book pp.4,5 ; conversation Talk about what you do role-play use different occupations.
 More occupations
Grammar singular and plural nouns / be plural statements.
Work in teams to make sentences using be plural statements.
Complete exercise C and D
